Hello all,

went out for a bit today with Pointdlr. We have been hunting a spot where some old stuff has been popping out and oddly enough it is in the front yard of a 1938 home. I found a ginger beer bottle today along with the Indian Head penny (my first IH in the 70's), yesterday I found a 1848 Large Cent in dismal condition. Its great weather for swinging!

Nice coin and date to find.

I've touched sites like that before. Found coins a 100 yrs alder than the current home. Don't happen often though. Must have been a cabin there long ago.

That Injun will gather a few pennies upon sale! Nice 70 right there. There has to be more out there. jgas

Nice find. Looks like it was in pretty nice condition when lost. Congrats. :icon_thumright:

The green is cool.

That is a nice coin. Why soes it seem that so many Indians come out of the ground in such nice shape. I've only dug one so far, but it was nicer than most of the 30 wheats I've dug.
