1/7/23 ( nice beautiful day! ) We found a Turtle pointer and some really great
Mimbres petroglyhs! Wasn't expecting this rattlesnake to strike at me in January! I took a fall in the opposite direction as to get out of his way...lucky only brusied my butt!!! Posting pictures below...comments welcome....maybe post more later.

Looks a lot like the Cookes Range - one of the best choices for snooping around. Your photo No. 6, "lilo" caught my eye. There are many lilos out there - some copycat "lilos" from some deer hunter from Deming. Others are more interesting, like this one:
