The back has a name and address on it from what I can tell? The address is not from the town where it was found as the streets are all named and not numbered.

There is a person by that name in Des Moines. Maybe he could shed some light on it for you. I doubt it is a coat check as it has 2/$1 on it. That seems like a lot of money for a coat check unless it is modern.
