I found this on my 7th metal detecting hunt, a coin that is quite destroyed, at an old site. I found out that it is a Louisiana Purchase Exposition Medal from the St.Louis.
Louisiana Purchase Exposition
What I am wondering is what model is it? Not sure how to identify it. I think it might be gold due to the plating color and what seems to be bronze under the plating but I am not sure if the others had a goldish colored plating.
Thank you all for the help, always awesome to be part of this community!
HK-299 Silver. 33mm.
HK-299a Gold. Unique.
HK-300 Gold-plated Bronze.
HK-301 Copper.
HK-302 Yellow Bronze.
HK-303 Bronze.
HK-304 Gilt.
