Went back to the club today. The picnic grounds has dried up a lot so I started detecting with my CZ 21. I managed 74 coins with a face value of $4.28, a 1964D silver dime, a #2 pendant, an aluminum kiddy ring and an interesting silver earring.

As I was swingin along I got an iffy signal that sounded like it might be a chunk of can slaw. When I pulled it out of plug I was sure it was slaw. When I looked a little closer I saw the wire of an earring and noticed the word STERLING on the base. On closer inspection I could tell it was a cactus earring. I have never seen an earring like this one and I think it is kind of cool. My wife thinks it will make a nice pendant when it is cleaned up and I think she is right. Maybe I will clean it up and put it on a chain for Christmas.

Another good day swingin my detector in the field. Thanks for looking and may your coil lead you to good things.
