Just started out today dogging rain showers and finally gave it up for the day, and went home still having problems working with the new detector. I'm hearing impaired including tone deaf!!
After going home and looking at the manual again. I decided to set up a small area in my flower bed with different types of item's including pulltabs, silver ring, gold ring, nickle, dime and a quarter. went to work learning the tones I'm hearing and verifying with the display after about 1/2 hour I got the controls set where i need them. and went looking in my yard I have been all over this area with my old detector and the new one. just show me that every detector is different just need to learn it!!! after 15 minutes i pulled 45 cents in clad 1 button and this Little silver 925 Ring ( wife already claimed it as hers. LOL
Just got back from the jewelers Got it cleaned up It is a 1.25 caret emerald cut Sky Blue Topaz estimates it was made in the early fifties.
