Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
Hi All.For a while now,I have been detecting a beach that is fairly close to where I live.My finds from that beach have been very few lately. So,yesterday I decided to travel another beach that is twice far away, and I am glad that did.I arrived at the beach and began searching the wet sand,at low tide, with the Excalibur 2.I soon came upon a area of the beach that had a bit of erosion,so I started searching from the cut ,to the water, and back.I soon began finding clad coins every few minutes. Then I began finding a few rings.By the end of the day,I had 2 10K gold rings and a little 10k gold pendent,3 .925 silver rings and a junk ring.I tested the stones,in the 10k rings, with a moissanite tester and, unfortunately, they are synthetic. My clad total was $4.80 .I plan to hunt this beach again soon.thanks for looking.HH everyone. 100_2105.JPG

Sounds like a return trip is in order. Nice job!

Looks like a good spot! Congrats!

Awesome hunt!

Whoaaa !!! 7 pieces !! Sweet.

I'm in Palm Bay as well and now know why I can't find anything, you found them all, lol.
Are most of your finds in the "towel line" or surf? I'm new to beach detecting and using the White's Surf PI and having zero discrimination and no pinpointing sucks. I feel like I own a $1000. Pull tab locator.

I was lucky enough to go to that particular beach, and discovering that cut that was caused by beach erosion.I went there on Nov.16th.I went back to that same beach yesterday, and the same area was heavily sanded in with sand and shells.I came home with 25 cents, after 5 hours of hunting.I was just very lucky, to hunt there at the right time.

My finds were all found between the cut and the low tide point.

Hi All.Back on Nov.17th,I wrote that the stones,in the two 10k rings that I found were synthetic. Then a few days ago,I took both rings to be looked at by 3 jewelers. All three jewelers stated that the diamonds were genuine. For me,that was good to hear.
