Tried a new spot up the creek from my favorite spot yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised. Only had an hour to hunt, but it paid off. Only have a few in-situ pics for now. The 3 pic is a very nice scraper, good sized, with some great flaking. Will get pics of everything up later.

No need to downplay your results,even a few flakes is a good find. You were where an ancient man once hunted, thousands of years ago. Wonder what was going down when those were lost? Anxious to see the other points.

I suspect a lot of everything was going on there, the site is part of a large village site.
I suspect the reason most of the points I find by far are broke is because that is where they took damaged points from their shafts and discarded them. I just don't see them losing a lot of nice complete points at home.

Here are a few more pics showing everything from the short hunt. It includes a nice graver, several scrapers, a spokeshave, damaged points and a crude blade. The black point is only the 3 piece of obsidian I’ve found round here.
