Found A Few 3 Ringers And One Crusty Indian

The weather was very nice on Saturday and I had some time to get out before a Christmas party. My 9 year old girl and I packed up and went to a small town close to where we live and we got permission to hunt around an old church. As I was getting my stuff out of the truck, the man that gave us permission told us to stay around the parking lot across the street and not to go around the church itself. So we went around the grass border of the lot and found a few Wheat cents, got a nice deep signal and out popped a 3 ringer! Was not expecting that. We then dug 2 more in a 6' area and also found a lead hem weight. I went back on Christmas day with a new larger coil I got as a gift from my wife, and found one more bullet and an 1897 Indian Head, it is in terrible shape from either fertilizer or a fire

Nice 3 ringers and IH. At least you got a date off the IH. I've a few this year that are just crusted beyond repair...then again I've had some beautiful ones. Can't always get the perfect ones. lol HH

Congrats on the 3 ringers! I remember the days my two girls went on many adventures with me...they were priceless!! It's always a pleasure to read about others sharing these great family outings as well, good job!!!
