It was nice here today, and there's only a few days left before cold weather makes it almost impossible to break the ground. We could use some rain to help that matter right now also. Anyway, went back to a school that I've been working for about a week, and thought that I had finally found a large dollar coin. You know, Eisenhower or earlier. But knew before I dug it that it wasn't earlier, as it didn't ring in as silver. But when it popped out of that hole, it sure looked like a good coin. Anyway, it is a dollar token, dated 1984, from the Riviera Caseno in Las Vegas. I don't know what color they were originally, probably silver like a silver dollar, but it is a strong brown now, and the pictures are the best I could get. The only difference in the two sides, is that one of them has a date, and the other doesn't.
So, the day wasn't a complete waste. Also found a couple dollars worth of clad.
Hope you all had good days too..
