Trekked out to a spot where I had found a fatty IHP in th past so I knew it had some potential. Managed to find a civil war era colt patent pocket powder flask, a fancy clasp for a jewelry box or something, Canadian nickel, an interesting piece of brass, and some horse tack that’s still has silver wash on it. I’m curious if anyone knows anything about the piece of brass. It’s very heavy duty and appears purpose built for something. It says federal Detroit on it with some other numbers. maybe an early car part?
