Found a Cuckoo

Picked this up at a garage sale for $6. Work's perfect. It's a 1 day. Only thing is it is dusty as hell.

Haha, they wanted $7 I offered $5 we settled on $6. I knew absolutely nothing about cuckoo clocks. I'm fairly young so I usually go for electronics and games and such. I figured I was willing to through away $6 on a clock. Worked out pretty well.

Almost Identical to this one. But the one that sold the pendulum didn't move.

I would think that the fact that it works made it entirely worth buying at that price.

It won't work for long if it is as dusty you say it is. Nice buy for $6 still. I have a few cuckoo clocks. One of them works correctly. The others would work fine if they were cleaned of all the dust inside of them. It is a BIG PITA to clean them. Costly if you have it done by a pro.

I've got a nice cuckoo clock and I love it. Sure is nice that they have two counterweights so you can disconnect one at night.LOL

My birds always look with a crazy head tilt when mine goes off, kind of like a puzzled puppy dog look. I don't run it all the time, but it is hanging on the living room wall.
