Got out for a couple of hours today before the big weather change here in IL.
The wind has been horrible the last couple of days making hunting kind of tough.
Stopped in a few fields without much luck, so I decided to hit a yard. The house
that I hunted is on my 1872 plate book and I was hoping to get a seated or at least
a barber, instead I found a 1917 British 6 pence and a 1944 20 centavos coin.
I did end up with 1 U.S. silver a 1964 dime and 7 wheats, the oldest being 1919
but I guess a couple of silver is better than no silver!
