Im very sorry, ouch that hurts

Ouch, that first point is a Sonora flint Pinetree, really nice piece. The second is kind of an unusual bifurcate imo, interesting form on the ears.

Cool finds Dave. In my most uneducated opinion I am gonna have to say that the second one is a Big Sandy-contracted base......................... probably made by Chief Fancy Pants :tongue3:

The first Point is just what Ryan said, a very nice Sonora Pine Tree. Shame the one tang is damaged. The other I'm not sure of, but it could be a MacCorkle that was found and reworked by a later culture and they sharpened the shoulders off of it.

Nice Pinetree! Those are quickly becoming my favorite type. That second one sure is an odd ball but I would have loved to be the one that found it. At first glance it reminded me of a LeCroy/MacCorkle, who the heck knows? Chief Fancy Pants does! LOL
