I think .750 mean's 18k.......could be wrong but nice find!!!

That is a nice find for sure. And a surprise as well.... jgas

Thats an excellent chain Fishenfool! Did you dig it and what was your VDI?
Most of the gold I have found come up 0 to 10 on my M6......

Keep safe...

Keith

an 18 k type marking very common overseas --- 750 thus its 750 out of 1000 or 3/4th gold --overseas 18k / 750 is the common gold % used in jewelry --- nice find --anchor chain type design it looks like -- very popular with sea going folks who often travel overseas ( being a retired merchant seaman I know that type design is very popular with seaman) --now weigh it and X it by .75 --and you know how much "gold" you have by weight then X it by the "spot" gold price - then you will know its true gold or scrap metal worth

Well said, Ivan. I was going to say the same thing about the K weight, but didn't know anything about that design. Thanks for the info.

Nice chain,

Worth some bread to with the gold prices up.

HH Jer

Nice gold find finer than most, 18k is sweet I don't care for 10-14k.

Keep @ it and HH!!
