Found a bunch of glass today & 1 shroom.

Took a walk through a friends farm that dates back pre civil war. These woods are good "morel" mushroom hunting woods.... Only got one shroom, but I did get some glass at an old bottle dump. We found all this on the surface. We will get back to it when we get the chance.

i am such a fiend for those things, I have been known to cook ONE if I find it...

Is that inkwell in the third pic complete?

During shroom season I eat them as often as I can. And no the igloo inkwell is just the top.

I have a ton of mushrooms that grow out at my local golf course they grow in giant rings all over the place but I don't know if they are edible.... they look like it but I'm not one to take that chance.

Great finds, Red my wife loves the shrooms, i don't!!! she wanted to know what type of shrooms that were pictured Ive seen several this week in this sight!!! HH Chug

Those are morrel mushrooms.

I split it in half and had it soaking in a salt water solution.

I know nothing about hunting shrooms but wish I did. I've read posts about these morrels for the last couple years and keep telling myself to go out and find some. Maybe someday I will.

When I do, I'm relying on you guys to tell me how to prepare them.
