I can't tell you your cartridge's caliber (.25 or .32, etc) without you providing precise measurement of its body-diameter (not its wide base). It was made by the United States Cartridge Company. The "US" mark being written in indented lettering dates it from 1909 to 1926/27, when the USCC was bought by Winchester and the USCC's machinery was moved to a Winchester facility.

Jeff, I believe that the OP has to mark their own posts "Solved" when they feel it is solved.
