Found a Bill..

I found a bill, it's 25 something.. I cannot understand the writing on the bill.

Has a South American looking male on the one side of the bill along with a standing lion inside a wreath with a star above it. There's something along the lines of 9IX 1944 written under the lion and wreath.

The other side features what look to be either miners or railroad workers near a tunnel.

I wish the USA had bills with random workers on it, like an irate bank teller in mid yell pointing to sign that says "no coffee for coin" with a foreground of a man shrugging his shoulders palms up.
