Hi all,
I went to a local park today in my quest for that gold ring, but it didn't happen today. I came home with almost $4 in clad, a pendant, a wheat penny, and a big men's watch. I figured if someone could throw off a watch, someone could quite possibly throw off a ring, right?
I'll be visiting that place again..the watch was in the middle of a big field and had been run over when the park people aerated the ground (there were little holes all over the place). The glass on the watch was shattered and fell apart as I pulled it up..it was just beneath the grass. The hands are still operational and so is the winding mechanism.
I'm planning on going back another day to continue my gold ring search.
