Hey silversurfer.

That Plume & Atwood burner is in remarkably good condition. The Fireside was patented 1873.

"The FIRESIDE Burner, patented on
Feb. 11, 1873 which incorporated
an earlier Nov. 26, 1872 patent"

What's the flipside of that spiderweb looking device look like? Any spiders present?

I always liked your comic persona.

The little buckle that you found is a suspender buckle. Good find!
..yes,it is....looks like one Steve in Pa posted just yesterday, that has a Patent date of 1850....but what is even cooler,is yours still has the ring attached to the hook tab!Out of 50 or so of these I have dug....very few still have had the ring attached

I can not find a patent listing for what is marked on my one example that resembles Steves, which is 1850.However,I did find an improvement patent for the suspender clamp design....in 1871
