First one looks like part of a log turning Peavy. The cant hook is missing. Second one, perhaps a corn knife? If it is an old pine forest, perhaps a knife for cutting sap gashes for turpentine production (pitch). It is fun to dig iron signals when they are away from houses... Nice finds. George.

Today I found 2 items buried back in the woods. Any ideas what they may be and age?
On the first loop item, it appears some of the flattened thin section likely eroded off.
On the long flat item, it appears in tact as all edges seem intentional. It has one hole in it.
Thanks for looking!
First object is a part of a singletree. Age is estimated to be 100 years or more.

Thanks trimbaker and bartshop62... I think you hit the nail on the head on the singletree ID. Definitely looks like one of those.
