Found this 1938 class ring might be a tough one but going to try and track down the owner. P9110015.JPG

I would say there is a good chance that the owner is no longer walking amongst us. They would be very close to being 90 at this time. Good luck though :icon_thumleft:

:icon_thumright: nice find good luck

It was found today when detecting a small yard my wifes boss ownes she's only lived there a short time so she has no ideal who it may belong to. Only other things found there was 1926, 1927, wheats and shell game token from 1968. The game token is in bad shape looks like it got hit by a mower a few times. I got a call in to the historical society in that area as they have the old year books but the ring is a little chewed up on the inside I think it has the initials V R P the first could be a W though and the P could be an F, its pretty hard to make out. Its also small probably a girl so if she married her last name won't be the same. I would really like to find her though or at least one of her children they would really like that if shes not with us anymore.

Nice find. I found a 1941 class ring this summer and gave it back to the woman who had lost it in the early 50's.

Wolverine.

Excellent find - hope you find the owner!

It may take some doing but I bet you can find the owner or her relatives. I found one from 1925 that was lost in 1925 and returned it to the relatives earlier this year. Good luck and great find...d2

Hope you do! Goodluck!! :icon_thumright:

Nice find!! Check with the historical society with those year books, I'm sure you will find the actual name. Good luck, and keep us posted.

 RR

That is cool. A heavy ring with fresh dirt on it always feels good.
