✅ SOLVED Fossil shark tooth? Meg or Great White?

Thats where I was leaning also. Thanks erfranks. The color is throwing me off. Never found a brown one. Usually black and bluish tone to the others I've found.

That looks like a Meg to me, old breaks on both sides but still ok. The color is a function of the deposits in which it was fossilized. Our teeth at Calvert Cliffs are almost all dark gray to black and the color is characteristic of the location.

I like the color - call it caramel.
