fossil of some kind so what is it

i found this laying by a tree at first i thought it was cement with a fence imprint but its a rock not cement i thought it could b fish scales or snake skin imprint u tell me 239.JPG242.JPG242.JPG

I dont know what it is but what ever it is its cool!

I have found some close to that pattern and was told by an expert it was a plant imprint. around 350 million years old.... that of course depend on where it was found. Here is a forum that you can post it on and get some answers. The Fossil Forum

Back when i was mining coal here in Ohio Id find very similar fossils under the coal seam.
The ones I found were water or pond lily roots.

I was thinking carp like fish scales, but I am no fossil expert. But, I am an old fossil I've been told. M:laughing7:nty
