If you are in Ohio and Virginia, my Forts, Camps & Batteries series are being rewritten, enhanced with maps and illustrations. Virginia came out in March in time for the Digging in Virginia event. The book was started in 2001 and completed in 2016. Ohio was written in 1999 and its been rewritten and enhanced. The books are available for $28. + $5 shipping. Next book due to come out soon is Pennsylvania followed by Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. Currently I'm working on North and South Carolina. I started metal detecting in 1972 until contracting Charcot-Marie-Tooth in 2005 and gave up metal detecting on land recently and only water hunt in chest deep water now. I haven't time to even do that as I assist my mother care giving for my father who has dementia. So when I have free time, I do my research at night and toss out sites to Maine, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois and Kentucky on FB. I mean who gives away military sites? Sure maybe a condo is sitting on it today and then again! Soon there will be a Forts, Camps & Batteries Facebook page that every relic hunter can check in to it to see what Relic hunters are finding with my books. That is going to be so cool.
