Found this today in a local park (I always light up when I see silver). I thought I had found a silver dollar or a half dollar but it is a 1959 2 1/2 Guildens coin from the Netherlands (the walker is there for size comparison since I still haven't found any silver dollars). :-[ It was a 2 1/2 dollar coin which at todays exchange rate would be $1.45 U.S. I say was because it is no longer legal tender as they have switched to the Euro system. Sounds like a collectable to me! HH to all.

I found the Walking Liberty earlier this year in a park in Iowa and a second one (1936) a few months ago in the same park I found this coin in today. So far the only two Walkers I have. Yes Lab Rat, I agree, silver is silver regardless of where it comes from. HH.
