I bought a antique dresser with doors from a salvation army sale 30 years ago. I still have the piece and I recently found a plastic bag secured above one of the drawers. The bag contains about 20 foreign coins. The coins are british and french and I assume asian. The british ones date back to the early 1800's as do the french ones. The asian ones are gold in color with a round hole cut out in the center. Do I take these coins to a appraiser and do I trust his appraisal. I would appreciate your input.
