What you see is about the last 3 to 4 months amount. Some are old some are new some are silver and some are clad. Been in detecting for over 20 never lived anywhere else so wondering if its normal. Thanks everyone

Looks like quite a few Euro, some Korean Won, Canadian, and Pesos. Canadian and Pesos would make sense since both countries are part of North America. The Euro and Won could also be from soldiers who were stationed overseas. Also, there is a rather large Korean and European (German) population in the US from soldiers who marry overseas. Then, like you said, Las Vegas is a large tourist area.

I haven't been metal detecting long but I think that being where you are that you might find a higher than average amount of foreign coins.

Dtiger2k thanks for your input and info on the coins , ive wonderd where a lot of these were from. Thanks, good luck and happy hunting.

If you need identifications or any valuing, just list the coins (I know it's a lot), and I will give you detailed IDs and values. I saw a US quarter in the first picture I think.

Thanks sagittarius 98, ill see what I can come up with on the most curious ones. Thank you for your expert kindness and time.

Only foreign coin I've found are Canadian clad lol

I never found any money in Vegas, but I did leave some there. I guess what goes to Vegas stays in Vegas.

I have a whole different collection just for foreign coins. :headbang:

Very nice:thumbsup: Congratulations:occasion14:
