Ford Key and weight?

Hello

I found the Ford key and I wondered how old it is and if it goes to a Thunderbird? I didn't know they made special keys for them.

Also I think this thing is a fishing weight but I have never seen one with a letter stamped into it. Is it a fishing weight?

Looks like a 1 ounce fishing weight. Quite common to stamp the weights to know what size you're using. As for the key I'd say good guess, looks like a mid 70's maybe?

Today I received my Ace250 from the UPS guy but unfortunately there's no place to MD here!!! With over 20 inches on the ground in most places it's just impossible to find any ground to MD on.

Yuppers... I remember using them 40 years ago and they are still made today.
Very, extreamly common.

Hey ME2....that looks like a Thunderbird Key to me....a few months back, at the church I am detecting...I found a Thunderbird hubcab....where a house use to sit before it became church property. Had a heck of a time getting that out of the ground...LOL.

This type of weight I have seen before just never with a number on it. Cool now I am sure that is what it is thanks everyone...
