I don`t know about that, kinda looks like a thing-a-ma-do-flinky to me, LOL:tongue3:
 

I was wondering if it's old, because the Ford logo is written in cursive.
 

Haha no it doesn't move, I'll take a few more pics with different angles.
 

If there is a part number on it, it will give you and age. Ford starts every part number with a letter. So if its a 68 part it would start with C as in C8. 78 would be D8 and 88 would E8 and so on.... Hope that helps.

It's sorta hard to ID from just the 2 photos.
 

sort of looks like a points assembly with part of the inner distributor but its a little iffy
 

You'll never believe this but this afternoon we were at our Ford dealership getting the oil changed in our car and I was on my phone on my Treasurenet application. We had waited an hour or mor and then I waited on my mister another 20 minutes in the car for some paperwork on an extended warranty and I was ready to get out of there! I'll bet you could send your pics to a Ford dealership anywhere and they could help you.
