Sorry for the confusion - I was using the phrase 'donate' to show that my interest is historic & not monetary. I have not yet donated anything but will. The displays I do are lent to them for a year or two as my finds are more interesting then there documents etc...

The local museum here isn't even interested in keeping the artifacts I find. They want to display them, but they don't want to keep them. They want me to loan them, and rotate them once in a while. They say they don't have room for everything that people want to "donate". Hmmm...maybe I should start a museum?
