Went out tonight, more for exercise than finds. Just a 2 hour walk.
Staying on the "high side" of VDI.

But, wouldn't ya know it? I flip one plug and I see this:

Everybody and their kin have been thru this section, for YEARS! LOL

Everybody who has ever found a 1965, raise your hand! LOL

Blingie & Fishy seem happy, but I think they just
see a "shiny shiny". ;)

All's right with the world. :)

Thanks for peeking!

Nice quick hunt, plus a two hour walk...great day!

If we all found one of those on one of our walks, we would all be walking a lot more.

Looks like the high-tone cherry-picking worked for you. I think that fit in nicely with your short time frame. Congrats!!

Hey there ya go!, nothing like seeing that shiny coin smiling back at ya from the plug!

Nice work!

:hello: closest I could come to raising my hand . Wishing all the 65s I have dug were 64s

THAT IS SOOOO TRUE. Pulling a 64 is like hitting the lottery

I had to look closer. I thought that looked a lil too shiny for a '65. You and I took different paths today. I dug every pull tab I could find today in the park where you and I went. I had to share the open part we hunted with a fellow hitting golf balls back and forth, so I didn't do much of it, but I did clean the little area of a lot of junk.

My hand is up. More than once 65.66.67. Nice find.

Funny, I don't see any posts about the gold you found. Just gotta be some! ;)

Yeah, I knew I was very limited today so I just stayed with any signal I knew. (plus an occasional, interesting low one. ;) )

Thanks!

Nice walk!!

I just dug a coin spill last week that had two 65 Rosie's and a 65 Washington. Lol

Nice silver! :occasion14: What are the mounts or whatever those things are? They look like some sort of mounting plates or something.

Nice find:thumbsup: it seems like they made a tremendous amount of the 65 cause I've found probably 20 of them and only 1 64

:hello2: both hands raised! I've missed the 64' boat many times! I get several 65's and just figured life was laughing at me.

Nothing like silver winking back at you from the plug! Shinny is good, free pass for ya!

I have found a few of those plate things too but with out holes :icon_scratch:

One of these days I'm going to dig all signals in a 2ft area and see what I get, besides trash. I may have to replant the grass, it's really trash heavy, but at least I will have a clean spot to ground balance in! :laughing7:

Great Silver Score, Whadi. But what I am really envious of, to quote the late minstrel James Hendrix, is your "Stone Free," soft, dark, easy-to-dig DIRT! I know I am wearing my Lesche down to a "nub" by excavating this rock pile that I live in...Sub 8-)

It's always a good day when a little silver shows up. Congrats.

O.D. I tried that in a park yesterday ended up digging some PT chains some enterprising individual made .
