I'm on the hunt for a as best original condition 1934 V8 ford 4 door just like Bonnie & Clyde were shot all to hell in. One all original patina one came up on ebay and I tagged it thinking it would be affordable at a no more then a 3 to 3-1/2 thousand dollar unrestored car. Boy was I wrong, I think the bidding went all the way to 30 grand. I would like a ford like that because at the long ago family reunions we all had in Stuart Iowa. My dads cousin who was an old women then would tell the story of the day she was a young bank teller at the bank in Stuart. One day these two fellas walked in and said "Everybody reach for the skies" Turned out to be Clyde Barrow & Henry Methvin, Bonnie wasn't there and may have been the look out in the getaway car? No one could ever report they ever saw Bonnie, as she was big time famous then and that's who they were all interested in anyone seeing. I believe that was the last bank job Clyde Barrow pulled off before he was killed in Louisiana. I sure do have some good old family get together on my dads side memories with the old folks in the town park in Stuart, Iowa. My dad came from that farming area and we lived in the suburbs of Chicago back then.

Those days are gone my friend. Go over to my favorite hotrod forum and look at what that stuff sells for. A rotted, dented, fell out of an airplane, 34 Ford BARE body shell will bring more than $3000 these days. THE H.A.M.B. - Powered by vBulletin
