As serene as the picture suggests now, it wasn't always that way.
I recall many many years ago, my father would take me along to
the Scenic Bar. Didn't impress me much with the dirt floor and
observing drunks relieving themselves back in the dark corner.
I guess anything went back then. OMG, am I aging myself or what!
