Folks,

Most of my regular urban green spaces have been picked over pretty good by me and others....but with a bit of gridding I still manage to coax the odd keeper out....lol....

A local school yard sports field managed to give up a ladies gold bracelet stamped .800....after a bit of research turns out it's probably made in Portugal and would convert to 19.2k using the North American standard.

Kind of irrelevant because the missus has added it to her stash....lol

Great Work!

usually 800 is silver

Yeah....true about the 800 usually being silver...I've managed quite a few gold items with the 3 digit stamp and it's more common in Europe where they use the purity percent than the North American standard using the Carat mark.
