I'll give you one more of my favorites regarding Scotland. The song is "Flower of Scotland" (in case you wanted to look up the lyrics). This song stirs the blood; especially this rendition:

I agree good music is good music regardless of origin......I guess these types of songs just resonate a bit stronger with me because of the connection.
