Hello I found this fob the other day. I have found an image of it on eBay for $275.00. It appears to be a Bastian Bros co Rochester NY. fob but I can't find a back mark on it. Could it be a knock off? Looking further was it possibly associated with the fraternal group I.O.R.M (improved order of red men) item? As I found a couple different arrow head fobs linked to that group that looked like the exact same arrowhead blank with different things stamped on them. I'm interested to know anything else I can about it such as date or group etc. Thanks for any info you all can bring to light.

Do a little more cleaning/scrubbing on the back around the strap slot and you might find the makers mark.
Very cool find

There is a good chance your item is Boy Scout related. They gave metals similar to yours for various hiking trails. They used the arrow head design and the indian image. That would have had a ribbon attached instead of being a watch fob. Type Boy Scout Hiking Metals and you will see a bunch.

Could be on to something there. Here's a 1950'S era Tomahawk Trail Arrowhead W/ Indian Chief Boys Scout Medal. Only the image is reverse.

Be careful to not trust eBay prices for items listed. Best to check sold for prices on completed sales.

You might look up Boy Scouts Order of the Arrow! An achievement almost as good as Eagle!
In the induction ceremony, very solemn, you had to jump over a camp fire wearing native
costume ie loin cloth. I have a friend of old whose campfire was made with damp hickory.
As he sailed in mid air over the fire a big smoldering chunk blasted out of the fire and went,
well you know where! So much for solemn!:laughing7:
