Not trying to distract from your friend's picture, @DizzyDigger , but if you all enjoyed that picture you might be interested in this quick video I created a few weeks ago. I had not ever seen a Blue Heron breaking off branches like this before.
I happen to live on water in Delaware, so maybe I should share more "Daily Snapshots".

I been watching this forum for a few years now, and I see that the quality of pics we get posted just keep getting better and better. Except for mine, cause I still use the camera mode 'point and shoot and hope somethin looks good', haha! I really enjoy them, except for newnan man's flower pics in what's spring down there, when we're still snowed under here. They kinda depress me.

That pic was taken by a pro wildlife photographer, and he posts his pics on an archery site I belong to. Seen some amazing pics from him over the years.

I'm looking forward to getting out and doing some nature photography this Summer, but at the moment it's still cold, wet and nasty out.
