This morning I put one more hour into the Church Field. Todays finds are a Flying Eagle Cent! The coin is holed so, no date. Also a few more buttons, one with a drilled shank. I dont find many of these.
The first pic is where the house site is. The second pic is the rest of the field. The rest are todays finds and totals for eight hours on an early Vermont home site:icon_thumleft:

Great finds! I hope someone didn't hole out the 1856 on your eagle!

Got to love the center piece mister!! That needs a 4 sided glass case. I wouldn't leave that field till I found every one of those! HH

Very nice - the landscape looks very much like the Shenandoah Valley. Great saves!

Great looking coins, buttons and lead! That is a great site! Love to imagine what life would have been like back when the house was first built. I hope you pull out many more awesome relics and coins from there!

nice finds!:icon_thumleft:

Man that's one heck of a site you have there. Nice job on the FE cent! :occasion14: Those are few and far between--I only got my first about 2 years ago, after 10 years of detecting (though it seems that you have better sites to hunt than I do...will have to visit you sometime :laughing7: )

Awesome job those are some sweet finds, congrats!!!

Wow! Nice coins!!

What an awesome, beautiful site! You can dig that site for years to come. Just hit it with your passion and the relics will pop. Amazing!!!!

One great thing about the site is that being a hay field it gets cut a couple of times a year giving me more chances to hunt:headbang:

Do you have any old spots lined up for the fall?
