Points from Wakulla County spring creeks. Rivers have too many gators! The amount of springs in Wakulla County is enormous. Found in the early 80's when I lived in Tallahassee. I have a few more in different frames.

Nice. love those colors too...

I wish I was fifty! I still thought I was bullet proof back then.

Im a lover not a fighter but I still will defend me and mine.
Its not about my tender benders and artifact back
it’s more about recuperation time than the legend....

I'm catching up to you guys, it'll be here before I know it :occasion14: anyways awesome points Newnan, I knew I should've looked in Wakulla County when I was there.

All our springs were tiled years ago. I only know of a couple. Can you access the springs for water? Is it good water to drink? The only spring near my house is in a woods and the deer are there all winter. Only place they can get water when everything is froze up. Gary

Florida has probably more springs than any state and possibly the world. You can search online and the amount of springs is astounding. Some are major ones that create a small river at their head. Wakulla Springs is one with a State Park equipped with glass bottom tour boats. I always enjoyed looking in the spring fed rivers and creeks for points, fossils, & sharks teeth. Many springs are State Parks with great amenities. Strange, few tourists go to them but locals flock there in the summers for the very cool water to swim. They are all gin clear & definitely good for drinking. Diving for artifacts is now illegal in Florida (stupid) so Im glad I found several back when I was younger.
