Well, you can go east or west. Which detector are you going to be using? Right now we are getting a lot of easterly winds, so the west coast would be a better choice because it will be flat. East coast will be rough.

I'd suggest clearwater beach since it's the most populated. If you are searching dry sand get there at 5:30am and bring a head lamp.
 

The easiest for you to get to is East. Just head for Vero Beach and start digging up the Spanish Cobs.

yup...we can all use some more tourist shop cob relicas.I defer to those who actually hunt there...but they are likely to be very closed lipped.good luck and have fun....wish I was with you
