florida beach erosion

They are dredging the Sebastian inlet, not refilling the beaches. The state doesn't work that fast!!

No awesome finds from up on the Northern end of the beaches yet. Most of the beaches all the way up to Flagler have been eroded, but are now in a condition of having a very steep grade at the wave break area. Makes it difficult to hunt the wave break because they are breaking hard.

Matanzas is still fairly flat, but didn't seem to see as much recent erosion. Jupiter Inlet (South end) is supposedly below 1999 levels, but I haven't been down there to check it out. Don't think I will be soon. Heading down to the keys on Memorial Day weekend, so I'll probably stick local this weekend. Maybe back to Matanzas.
