Hey all,

Had a track meet yesterday, and right in front of the school we were at was a flee market! My Dad and I always love going to them, and he's taught me how to haggle pretty well. Got myself a ton of stuff, all for just under $20! Here's the haul:

And the absolute diamond in the rough, a Collectors edition Master Chief Helmet for $3!!! :) :occasion14: Extremely happy, seeing as I've wanted one for about 6 years now!!

Anyways, thanks for looking, and HH

**EDIT** Almost forgot! Got a new 2nd or 3rd Generation iPod Touch for $5! Fully functional and stocked with music by bands I like! Another epic win!

Love the helmet.
My son would flip for that !

Awesome deal on the violin. If you can, post a picture of the label inside the f holes. Yes I play.
Also, lets see the back of it and the fingerboard close up.
Hard to tell if it a 4/4, 7/8, 3/4 or 1/2 and etc...

If you're looking for books, DVD, CD's, you may want to check your local libraries, with much better pricing. I could have bought those same books for $3.50 :icon_thumright: Hardcover books are $0.50 ea, CD/DVD $1.00 not too shabby :tongue3:

I have to admit that violin was a steal, and I hope I can run into something like that :icon_thumright:

Grisham fan huh? I think I read all of those already, lol. You got some great deals. A violin for $9? Sweet! A working Ipod for $5, just as sweet. Not to mention the Halo helmet. Keep at it kid, you've got the knack.

PS- I went to Hayfield HS back in the late 70's, you weren't there were you?

I am just green with envy - great buys!

I've been keeping my eye out for an Ipad for a long time to no avail. Color me green.

No, this one was over at Robinson Secondary in Fairfax County, VA. Thanks for the feedback, too, everyone!

I seriously just went out and rented a violin yesterday to teach myself. I play trumpet, but wanted to learn a string instrument. $7 come on...I need to find something like that. I would probably pay $50 at a yard sale if I came across one.

Oh and you could probably replace that screen for like $20

that pokemon game is a good find, I found the exact one at a yardsale recently for a quarter, and sold for $35 on the bay, I would do a BIN or start the starting bid at aorund that amt and it should sell fairly quickly, i would imagine you could get a decent amt for the other game too. Apparantly their are like 3 - 4 pokemon games for the game boy each with a different color and the one found sells for the most!

I think there are more like a dozen of the Pokemon games.
