Flat button id

Found this flat button about 9 inches deep close to a war of 1812 navy button I’ve been cleaning it but can’t make out the rest of the back mark not sure if it’s a motto or not hopefully someone will recognize it from appears to be plain but has a lot of green before the word stand it appears to say ILL

Duh,..Their Colour Will Stand. there are a few more references for that. Cool button.

Thanks guys after I posted this a friend told me the same I found a war of 1812 button two days ago right near it tonight I was able to identify the soldier he was from my town Issac T Taylor back reads Giles (eagle symbol) Richards Boston

I found a bunch of buttons from the War of 1812 a number of years back and they had the same back mark. First one with that mark I've seen posted in a while!!
