✅ SOLVED Flat button. Civ or colonial era?

Found this last week with a garret 250. Came up as a penny. Says Standard orange colour with moons and stars around the shank. Would like to know age period.

I would put it in the early 1800s.

Pre Civil War manufacture, probably 1820s give or take. Could easily still been in use at the time of the Civil War.
