Flat Button/Backmark ID.....

I found this small flat button today in a cornfield.It measure's 18.5mm.....the back say's PLATED with what look's like 4 little "asterisk's".Any info or age would be greatly appreciated....HH!!

They could be....Look's like maybe 5 of them now?

Tough to tell about its age with only a quality mark on the back. If it was a manufacturer's backmark it would be much easier.

1820-40ish will probably be as close as you can get.

as you say quality mark ie '5 star' Plated. Date as above. I found 4 similar ones yesterday, makes your heart go if you see the silver coin shaped side first. :P
