Flat button backmark help

This plain flat button reads "Rich Treble Gilt" and also has a maker name on it but I can't make out all the letters. From what I've been told about similar buttons I found this is prob. a British import button... correct?

The letters I can see are:

"TLE" then a symbol that resembles a "W" but I think it is a symbol not a W and then "Co"

Before the "TLE" possibly an "OA" or "CA".

Any help apreciated!

Just clean the rest of the green and it will probably be quite clear.

What are you using? I don't think there's much risk for a flat button... you'll find more! (Not that I think you will cause any harm by a little more cleaning - if done right)

I had just been using baking soda and water. I just got a little crazy and used vinegar/baking soda/water. I don't know if that is a "no no" but it certainly had a satisfying fizz

And I now see that the thing I thought was a symbol or W is actually looks now to be a "Y" and I think what I thought was a "T" could maybe be another "L"

So now I have "....ALLEY & Co." or "...ATLEY & Co"

I might have to clean some more...
