I found this weird item right up against a stone wall about 4 inches down. It appears to be brass (or maybe copper). It's very thin and has a hunting scene with a dog and birds. The design is stamped into the brass. It measures about 6" high by 3 3/4" wide. Any ideas on this one?

Here's a couple of pics. The green patina started to flake off as soon as it dried, so it's in pretty rough shape.

It's a powder flask, likely CW era. Cool find.

Thanks for the quick reply! That would make perfect sense, considering where I found it and the hunting scene on it. I'll do some Google image searching and see if I can find a match. Thanks again!

You might find it, or at least very similar. It was a popular type design.

nhbenz, Thanks for the link. That's almost a perfect match. By the way, I found this brass piece about 10 feet away from the flask. Could it be part of the top of the flask? Let me know what you guys think.
