Now this is an interesting video. I can understand why Fox fired him, but it really gives you pause to think.

This is a video of a segment Judge Napolitano did on the Fox Network back in Feb. 2012. It was shortly after this segment aired that he was fired. To my mind, that he was fired for this video segment only reinforces that what he speaks of is true.

We, as a people, need to realize we are being manipulated by the old smoke and mirrors trick. Politicians use it, and the media, on cue, backs them up. Bought and paid for politicians are supported by bought and paid for media personalities. (I say media personalities because they are not reporters.) And I think everyone needs to listen to what the Judge has to say, for I think he is spot on target, as well as being just as relevant today as he was in Feb. of 2012. – Shorty Dawkins, Associate Editor

Yup, I have a great deal of respect for the guy. Don't agree with everything he says (or the manner in which everything he says is presented), but considering how high-profile and semi-mainstream the fellow is he can't be faulted for not showing all his cards. He's gotta cover his arse, after all. Generally speaking he is genuine, trustworthy, and his views are judiciously calculated.

Whatever the case, that speech was brave and brilliant. More like something from a blockbuster movie than the typical fare proffered by Fox's talking heads.
