Found this point this morning. I'm not sure if It's proper to call it a flake point but it looks like it was made out of a flake. It's still sharp and really thin.

I've also included all of the artifacts that I have found since September 5th. It's been a great month!!

That's nice. Uniface flake point is a good description.

That is a nice point and a good collection of points you have found recently. Thanks for the look.

That is nice and you have had a great month!

You ever go back and look at your pics after you post and see something else in it? Last year I saw a point in the background of a find. I went the next day and got it. I see 2 pieces in your pic is why I am asking might be nothing though. Nice point and finds you have gotten for this month.

nice find. Nice ones

I think they are all pretty much made off of a flake.

Some just don't need as much reduction.

That's nice. Uniface flake point is a good description.

It's not really a true Uniface since it is flaked along the edges on the back/flat side. It looks like a small Woodland Dart Point to me. I have found quite a few Points made on flakes over the years. I think they were quickly made pieces out of what they had available at the time. Kind of like reloading your weapons stash ASAP. Just my thoughts.
